The Philosopher

Description

The Philosopher is a Sumi-e Society of America award winning work in the traditional Sumi-e ink brush style. It represents Reba’s command of the spirit, doctrine and philosophy of this specialized art form.

I was gratified, and humbled, when Zen Master Shozo Sato, complimented me when he saw the Philosopher and said, “…you have a true understanding of the Zen approach to art which is captured so beautifully in this piece. It clearly represents what Sumi-e is all about.” RDH
